Guilian Yi
Guilian
Yi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computing
Science from Wuhan University of Science and Technology, at Wuhan, China in
2006. She earned her Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Mechanics
from Beijing University of Technology, at Beijing, China in 2010 with
research on dynamic simulation and optimum design for vibration and noise
reduction of gearboxes. She was enrolled as a doctoral student at Beijing
University of Technology and currently studies in the MDO group at the
University of Florida as a visiting student. Her current research topic is “Transplanting
the progress of the ICM method into the artificial material method for the
topology optimization.”
